Three good reasons why you should try Hypnotherapy.
There are a myriad of therapies around nowadays – probably far too many to choose from – whether it mainstream or alternative. Shall I choose acupuncture or reflexology, aromatherapy or possibly a sports’ massage; do I need a councillor or maybe somebody with neuro linguistic programing skills?
With all of these seemingly endless alternatives to choose from, why choose Cognitive Hypnotherapy?
As a Hypnotherapist I have seen first-hand the incredible changes that this form of therapy can bring. I once had a client with a fear of pigeons, and after only three sessions she was down feeding the pigeons in my local High Street! Amazing!
Something I hear a lot is, ‘I’ve tried everything, but I just feel hopeless.’ Here are the three reasons why I think you should try Cognitive Hypnotherapy.
- It’s highly effective and can transform lives.
Many of us know what we should be doing differently, we just don’t do it – all behaviour has a purpose. Using Cognitive Hypnotherapy we can uncover the reasons why you do what you do, helping you to think and feel differently so that you don’t listen to that cream cake crying out to you from the cupboard, or you don’t fear getting into that car or onto that plane. You feel more confident and self-assured – a better version of you.
- It’s faster and more affordable than conventional therapy.
Cognitive Hypnotherapy is a very brief therapy and so it’s very rare I see clients for more than two to four sessions. Some therapies can go on for months, even years, and just getting to the end of them is a relief. So not only will hypnotherapy not take up much of your valuable time, but it will get you the results you desire in a much more reasonable time frame – two to four sessions.
- It’s versatile and can help with a wide range of issues.
It’s difficult to think of an issue that Cognitive Hypnotherapy couldn’t help with. You may be familiar with its use for weight-loss and smoking, but did you know it’s very effective in finding relief from chronic pain, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Tinnitus and IBS, and many more issues – including those related to child birth. It can also help children with their education, and helps them retain information for exams.
Hypnotherapy teaches you how to stay cool and confident under pressure, whilst also improving communication skills. So if you have an important interview coming along and you are worried you may forget what to say, Hypnotherapy could give you the confidence boost you need to land the job.
I am sure you will have heard me say that a problem is only a problem if it’s a problem to you. Hypnotherapy can help deal with a myriad of problems and help you make it no longer a problem.
