Did you know that food has an emotional attachment over us; a hold over us that we sometimes find very difficult to control, to break the habit, or to let go of.
As a professional fitness instructor I have worked with many clients to help them lose weight, get in shape and build and tone their bodies. I always make a point of letting them know that getting in shape is 80% what you eat and 20% exercise.
What you eat, and when you eat it, is controlled by your mindset. Do you often hear that bar of chocolate calling out to you? Do you find yourself wrestling with a conversation with a packet of biscuits, or a piece of cake or ………? This is your inner voice talking to you. It is telling you that you must have this and that; it is playing on the emotional attachment you get from eating the food. ‘Eat it – and you will feel so much better!’ it tells you!
Using Cognitive Hypnotherapy we will work to interrupt these patterns of thinking, helping you to get to the root cause of the emotional attachment with food. Together we will build new learning pathways that will enable you to make the right choices, the healthy choices, the choices that are good for you.
